Rules of Play for 50/50 Electronic Raffle:
1. Individuals must be 18 years of age or older to purchase tickets.
2. Tickets are sold at the rates below:
· 5 tickets for $10.00
· 40 tickets for $20.00
· 117 tickets for $50.00
· 300 tickets for $100.00
3. Tickets will be available online at www.gowyo.com/5050, during draw dates.
4. Tickets will be sold using electronic raffle system supplied by Fanthem.
5. After purchasing tickets, patrons will be emailed a receipt with their 50/50 registered numbers from a Random Selection System. No specific numbers can be given as numbers are generated randomly.
6. The winning ticket number will be selected by a Random Number Generation (RNG) system from all raffle numbers sold for the draw for that day/game.
7. The amount of the total 50/50 pot will be visible online at www.gowyo.com/5050.
8. The winning number will be announced on www.gowyo.com/5050 . Once the winning number is claimed the winners name and image may be shared via media release.
9. The winner may claim their prize by contacting the University of Wyoming Athletics marketing office at: at shelley.heward@uwyo.edu. The ticket must then be sent to shelley.heward@uwyo.edu along with two pieces of ID. All payments will be made via check.
10. The winning ticket holder has 2 months in which to claim their prize from the date of the draw for which their ticket was purchased.
11. The winner must provide his/her name, address and phone number with picture identification for our report sheet.
12. Once the certified winner is verified, and provides identification with photo ID, they will be given a check in the amount of the declared prize which is, at minimum, 50% of the total sales for that game – minus applicable income tax. If the winner cannot provide photo ID, then the winning proceeds will be held until such identification can be provided.
13. If no winner comes forward the number will be posted on www.gowyo.com/5050.
14. In the event that no winner comes forward, the winning stub will be kept in a safety deposit box and held for 2 months. After that time period has elapsed the prize will be donated back to the University of Wyoming Athletics Department.
15. The following individuals are not eligible to participate in the 50/50 draws:
· Any person conducting or operating the raffle
· Any person employed by Wyoming Athletics
16. The above set of rules will be posted at each event.
